Little known fact: Been involved in racing since 1979. Started racing amateurs at Slinger in 1979. Wisconsin State Spectator Drag Champion at one time (drove all the way out to LaCrosse on a Friday night, won the competition, and drove all the way back home that night yet, getting home at 4:00 a.m. with the trophy). Pit steward at Slinger during the 1980's for a year (met Bobby Allison) and sold parts off a parts truck for JR Racing for a few years during the late 80's.
